I received your tape for three weeks and it sounds very good. I’m very happy with your recording and I cannot believe that a tape have this audio quality.
The same album is available on Tidal and the tape sounds much better. It feel like live.

Dear Dirk, I am delighted that you are enjoying Yuko’s tapes so much. She has a big concert and CD release party for her Miles Davis project at Herb Alpert’s Vibrato jazz club tonight, so I’ll tell her about your reaction to the recording in person.

Yes, there is something magical about tape, isn’t there? So glad you are enjoying the medium as well as Yuko’s, Del’s and Bobby’s performance.

The recording sounds amazing already on vinyl but this takes it to a whole new level.
On these tapes I can fully appreciate the magical result of a collaboration between outstanding musicians and very skillful engineers.

  3. Anthony Crudo

I’m currently listening to Yuko Mabuchi Trio for the second time, and I gotta tell you it is a fantastic album. Love the music section the group chose, and she clearly knows her way round a piano. Equally as impressive is the mastering, my system disappeared… felt like I was a couple tables back from the stage in the club!

    Keep up the good work!
