   Neville Roberts, the UK’s “HiFi Choice” – March 27, 2019

   I spent yesterday afternoon listening…. As anticipated, it is superb! The Lullaby gently relaxes you into the environment of the Cammilleri Hall. Yuko’s sympathetic rendition of ‘So What’ took me a few moments to clue into Miles’ original performance, but when I got there, it was true to him, but with a freshness and energy that Yuko and her team imparted to the performance – wonderful stuff! The remaining two tracks are a real homage to Miles Davis, but with Yuko’s individuality imprinted on her super compositions.
   For my non-tape friends, do you intend to press this album on vinyl?
   If you get a chance, please pass on my sincere best wishes and congratulations to Yuko, from one of her fans on this side of the water!

     Thank you Sir Neville! We are so proud of what Yuko, JJ, Del and Bobby have accomplished with this celebration of the great Miles Davis. I’m glad you are enjoying this tape so much.

     Yes, we do plan to press Yuko Mabuchi plays Miles Davis on vinyl, but Bernie Grundman and I haven’t cut lacquers yet for this release. Given the dynamics in this recording, it will probably take us more than just one set of lacquers to get it right. But we will succeed eventually. In the meantime, I hope people enjoy the tape, CD and high res downloads in DSD and PCM.

   As for the Miles Davis tape I say that this is the best of the best. Musically enjoyable and frighteningly realistic.
   And the musicians are so very good that this brings me to musical heaven.
   Hurrah and thank you for making something like this available.
