Ciaramella Dances from executive producer Elliot Midwood

“… a jewel. Alive with definition, the “you are there” sound pops into the room…. Best imaging, pacing, and sense of verisimilitude I have ever heard.” –Robert H. Levi, PFO.
“…when these extremely talented musicians begin to play, their liveliness and freshness is almost palpable…. And when it is played like this, the sounds of 300 years ago sound as if they were made only yesterday.” –Robert Stroble, Toccata-Alte Musik aktuell

  1. Carol

I bought this record several years ago because I love renaissance and Baroque, and this superb record brought the era to reality for me. Not only is the skill of the musicians and authenticity of instruments exceptional, but the quality of the recording is as good as it can get. The clarity and reality is amazing, so much so that I have been using it as the audition recording when I bought a new cartridge and tube preamp for my stereo. I bought a copy for a friend also. Turns out, this is my favorite record of all time. Thanks to Yarlung records and their whole crew.

Thank you so much for your comments, Carol! You have given us the highest compliment, first that this album brought the Baroque and Renaissance eras “to reality” for you. Adam and Rotem and the members of Ciaramella will be delighted to read this.

You have also given us the highest compliment as engineers; that you use this album as a reference for your cartridge alignment and to audition new equipment is fabulous. Thanks so much for your words.

      Sincerely,

      Bob Attiyeh
      Yarlung Records
